One Man is formerly a twenty-something professional who lived currently lives in Sydney, and worked works in the CBD. I am currently still in my twenties and studying in the UK.
I started this blog to write about the things which I enjoy and to record my experiences in and around Sydney (the good and the bad).
Like most people who eat out, I have not worked in a kitchen and could not tell you the difference between Clare de Lune and Hastings River Rock Oysters! But I do know how to enjoy myself and when a restaurant helps or hinders you from having a good time. This is what I hope to convey in the blog to all that happen to stumble across it.
I also started this blog to record the results of my “experiments” in the kitchen. I say experiments, because things frequently do not go to plan! My kitchen philosophy is to “keep it simple, stupid” and I hope that you can relate and enjoy my adventures as an amateur cook.
And finally, I wanted this blog to document my thoughts on the movies I see and the various other things I get up to, as I have a very poor memory!

I’m not sure how I found your blog, but it’s good reading. You have a good writing style. And it’s nice that you write about the things that matter – food, wine, theatre, movies etc.
